The first version of the studio was called Encompassart.studio begun in Karen Village on Ngong Road. The idea was to continue the way of working that was used for the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Kericho where various aspects of the art works were created by a group of artists/ artisans all working towards one purpose.

Sadly there are seldom projects that enable such a variety of works. However, we are still able to call on individuals or create teams to do large projects like that.

We changed the name to Nakshi Glass around 2020 and this is now firmly our identity.

There is still an emphasis on large scale architectural works but we go right to the small use of glass in the creation of jewelry. This allows our studio to be very effective.
